Daniel Polonsky has been part of the Galindo, Arias & López team since July 2025, working directly with many of the firm’s practice areas, with a particular focus on the corporate and project development fields. Prior to joining GALA, Daniel gained extensive professional experience working as part of the teams on high-impact matters at leading firms in Panama and abroad.

Daniel has participated in numerous matters, primarily in the real estate and energy sectors, advising clients on infrastructure development projects, bond issuances, real estate investment, and power generation.

Advising creditors on the refinancing of a wind farm’s debt through a private bond placement and a letter of credit facility, including the restructuring of the corresponding collateral package (Mexico City);
Advising creditors on the refinancing of a US$200 million syndicated loan for a 900 MWp combined-cycle power plant, through the conversion of the existing loan into a working capital line of credit and a series of revolving letters of credit for debt service and operating reserves (Mexico City);
Advising one of Mexico’s leading financial institutions on the issuance and public offering of corporate debt and the issuance of Trust Certificates as part of asset securitization transactions (Mexico City);
Advising underwriters on the issuance of US$1.1 billion in bonds by Saavi Energía, Mexico’s largest private electricity generation company, to finance the repurchase of existing debt, including the release of the various guarantee packages granted under the existing debt (Mexico City); and
Advising the Italian auto parts manufacturer Proma Group on obtaining a loan, secured by Mexican assets, for the acquisition of the Mexican subsidiary of Allgaier Werke, a German company that owns and operates two production plants in Mexico (Mexico City).
