In the wake of the Vienna Congress, we are proud to highlight our Partner Beatriz Cabal’s leadership within AIJA, where she currently serves as Co-Chair of the National Representatives Committee and Co-Chair of the 65th AIJA Annual Congress, which will take place in Panama in 2027.

Beatriz’s appointment reflects more than a decade of active involvement in the Association. An AIJA member since 2013, she has served in a number of key leadership roles, including National Representative for Panama, Member of the Executive Committee, Regional Coordinator for Latin America, and Academic Coordinator of the Annual Congress in Madrid. She has also contributed to the organization of several AIJA seminars, conferences, and regional initiatives, helping strengthen the Association’s presence and growth throughout the Americas.

She will now help lead AIJA’s flagship event as Panama prepares to welcome the Association’s international community in 2027, marking a historic milestone as the first AIJA Annual Congress ever held in Central America.

We are proud to see Beatriz take on this responsibility and to have Panama at the center of this important edition of the Congress.
