It was a pleasure to take part in the AIJA Americas Meeting 2026, held in Lima, Peru.

Our lawyers, Beatriz Cabal, Partner and Co-Chair of the National Representatives Committee at AIJA; Edgar Herrera, Partner; Gabriela Vásquez López, Senior Associate and Vice President of the AIJA SCILL Commission Board; and Raysa De Gracia, Associate, had the opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the region and exchange perspectives on the key challenges and opportunities shaping the legal and business landscape in the Americas.

Furthermore, Gabriela Vásquez López shared her insights on the labor implications arising from corporate governance failures, emphasizing the importance of effective controls and robust internal policies to prevent legal contingencies and strengthen organizational management under pressure during her participation as a speaker in the panel “Governance Under Pressure – Corporate Responsibility and Crisis Management”.
